City of Joy Vision and values
Our Vision
Reach - Reach the lost
Disciple - Disciple the found
Train - Train and
Release - Release all,
Glorify God - such that all of us reach our full potential in Christ, for the Glory of God
Our apostolic mandate from God is to: To disciple the nations by planting New Testament churches in every village, town, city, and country that God calls us to, either by prophetic words or doors of opportunity He opens to us.

Our Values
We are aligned to the Evangelical Alliance statement of faith
The Word of God We believe that the Bible is God's primary way of revealing himself to us so that we might know Him; that the scriptures in their original form were inspired by God Himself; that they carry His supreme authority, and are trustworthy. They have been given to us by God for the purpose of teaching us how to be fully equipped and qualified for right living (2 Timothy 3:16).
The Worship of God We see from the Word of God that worship is a lifestyle not a once a week occurrence. The King of Glory deserves, and in fact, demands, constant worship. We believe that real worship flows from a heart of love, passion, awe and fear for of God. We recognise that worship takes on many forms, from vibrant dancing and shouting, to being prostrate and silent before God.
The Witness of God 'Your lifestyle is shouting at me so loud, that I can't hear what you are saying'.
We are 'living epistles'. We believe that the witness of God is revealed by our lifestyles, and not merely by our words, titles and badges!
The Works of God 'His ways are not our ways'
We believe that God works among us all the time, and we recognise the works and gifts of the Holy Spirit in the fruit of our lives. Jesus declared that God is Spirit and God declared that he created us In His image and In His likeness. We are growing and becoming more like God by walking and living in the Spirit daily.
The Team of God We believe that God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. From Creation until now, God has worked as 'team'. We believe that God has called leaders with teams to advance the Kingdom of God - i.e. the disciples, the apostles, the church, etc.
