About Us
We are called City of Joy as a 'speaking to the dry bones' prophetic word over our City (Acts 8: 7-8)
City of Joy is a vibrant and 'alive' place to be, where miracles do happen. We have seen physical healings, freedom from drug addiction, freedom from depression, many salvations, many moves of the Holy Spirit, prophetic words coming to pass, and an incredible sense of the presence of God in our meetings.
We believe we are here for a reason, not just a season.
In 2002, City of Joy began with one family: two adults and two kids.Now we are nearly 20 different nations worshipping together. Thus we are not another 'slogan' international church, but a truly international one. In June 2007, we moved our offices into the cinema and you can now find City of Joy staff there Tuesday through to Friday (Mondays is our day off - yippee!!). If you want to come and see us, give us a bell on 01224 622 300.

Other things to know about City of Joy...
We are not an independent church. We are currently in the process of becoming a part of the New Frontiers family of churches. We choose to be accountable to the New Frontiers apostolic team out of genuine relationship, not obligation.
There are more than 300 churches in the UK New Frontiers family. Here in Scotland there are 5 of us, including:
City Church, Dundee;
King's Church, Edinburgh;
Hope Church, Glasgow;
and King's Church, Perth.
